Do you have any other comments, questions, or concerns? | I was charged $320+ for a frame, customized blankes with the dog's name, and more. It was never communicated that I was having to pay for this. I was never asked if I wanted the merchandise. I was told I would be receiving it as part of the registration. It made it seem the merchandise was free. It was not communicated properly at all whatsoever. I should have been asked "Would you like to purchase additional items with your registration?" I was never asked that or anything close to that. I was told I would receive a package with all the extra crap included that I didn't know I was paying for. It was very shady and there are laws against that. I work in business and have experience in sales. That was borderline crossing the line, not to mention, extremely unethical or at least careless. Train your reps what they can say and how to say it over the phone!!! Puffery is allowed and hard sales are allowed by law, but trickery and false claims are not. The call was supposedly recorded by your organization so please go back and listen through the transcripts. I bought a puppy from PetlandFrisco in Texas. I bought the puppy with a package included of registration. When I called to register my puppy, that is all I wanted to do. I was a little concerned as to why your people were charging me $320+, but I went through with it because I thought maybe I had misunderstood the petlandfrisco sales rep. I would like a complete refund for the amount charged to my account. All I want is to register my puppy, not get scammed into buying extras that I can get from somewhere else for far cheaper. I would not recommend your organization to any of my dog owning friends and family members. |
